Today's is a message about the necessary tension in a snap hair clip to pull long hair back off one's face and/or to provide a decorative hair accessory. Similarly, we sometimes need tension to be effective. God does His awesome part but there is often a part for us to play. Sometimes we might feel tense, nervous and outside our comfort zone before we step into the action God requires of us. It is not wrong to feel these emotions as when we act in faith, despite having those feelings, we discover the faithfulness of God. What is wonderful is that God equips us fully and abundantly for what He asks of us, such as the physical tools, the time needed, mental acuity and support from others. In Hebrews 13:21 we read, "Now may the God of peace ...equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen".
