Today I saw a picture of a stylus on an old gramophone player, reminding me of the time I heard, many years ago, two words sung to me from God - "🎵No Stephanie🎵". It wasn't an aggressive order but, rather, a loving instruction to have less of me operating in my life. This is along the lines of John the Baptist saying of Jesus - "He must increase but I must decrease" (John 3:30). This means that as disciples/followers of Jesus, we are to be an example of not focussing on self but, rather, displaying loving, giving actions and attitudes which can potentially draw others to Him. On reflection, I know I still struggle to do that, as considering myself first is often my priority.
