About a hundred years ago rock hard slabs of toffee used to be sold with a small hammer so the toffee could be smashed into smaller more manageable pieces for sucking. (This is now more of a novelty feature). Old Testament prophet Jeremiah declares God's Word to us: "Is not my Word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?". God's Word can come straight to the point and concisely deliver its message which is always for our own good and in bite sized pieces so - "is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"(2 Timothy 3:16) and is "living and active, sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword ... discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). Let's seek and humbly receive God's Word to us and to ask for discernment in knowing what is of Him and what is false prophecy.
