Description

The picture today reminded me that in the classic story of Peter Pan, he had been whisked away out of his pram when he was only 7 days old. He was taken to Never Never Land by the fairies, a place where he never had to grow up. This has brought to mind the encouragement in the biblical book of Hebrews to mature in our walk with the Lord. " Anyone who has to drink milk is still a baby, without experience in applying the Word about righteousness, But solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties have been trained by continuous exercise to distinguish good from evil" (Hebrews 5:12-14). As we know, exercise requires discipline. No exercise usually results in a deterioration of fitness. Let our walk with God be regular. It will become enjoyable rather than a tedious routine.
