I believe that today's picture represents idle threats which we need not fear. However, there is a cautionary note here as our enemy is looking around for the vulnerable who either don't know they can have God on their side guaranteeing victory for them or indeed, don't want His assured help. The epistle of 1 Peter 5:8 in the Bible, tells us "...the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone too devour". Let us reduce his roars to hot air by holding on to our mighty God who is willing to vanquish our foe.
