Today I saw an acrobat doing a balancing act, causing me to reflect on this busy world where so many of us are balancing jobs and responsibilities. However, our lives should not be about fitting God into our balancing act but about putting him first, as our priority every day. When we do, however illogical it may seem or feel, we will find that the rest of our day, and whatever balancing we need to do, actually goes smoother than it would have done if we had raced into the day without considering God first. "Come unto me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." (Matthew 11:28-29)
