Having heard an aeroplane's engine thundering overhead this morning and then fading into the distance, it made me think that despite me no longer hearing the engine, the aeroplane was still in existence. This is reminiscent of a life with God. We may not always be aware of God's presence in our life but that doesn't mean He no longer exists for us. The Bible is full of verses that assure us that God will never leave us nor forsake us. Deuteronomy 31:8 "The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged".
