After I saw a picture of an elastic band ball in my mind's eye I looked at a YouTube video on how to create one. The presenter was so detailed and enthusiastic that it crossed my mind as to why an elastic band ball could generate such passion in a young man. It then struck me as to how easy it is to judge others when they are different to us and/or we don't understand them. Jesus in the Bible gives us explicit warning. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" (Matthew 7:1-2). If we really meditate and digest those words, we realise that we wouldn't want anyone to be judging us in the same way we could be judging them. We also couldn't dispute God judging us in the way we like to judge others, with little understanding and freedom for differences etc. Let's just not judge full stop.
