Today's message is a sequel to yesterday's when we considered that a disciple learns as well as follows his leader. We are blessed when we follow and learn of Jesus. In Psalm 119 which has 176 verses, written by King David a man after God's heart, it is packed with the truth of the blessings we receive when following God's ways. David's son Solomon in his book of Proverbs (6:23) tells us, "For the comandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:". How encouraging is that as none of us is perfect and we need to humbly accept God's loving reproofs. We don't give up because of them. We are encouraged to learn of them. We are all to be learners (not losers).
