Today I saw some beautiful green leaves reminding me of the assurance in Psalm 1:1-3 that when we follow God's ways, we are like "a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers". In the first book in the bible, in Genesis 3, God banned man from access to the Tree of Life after Adam and Eve had decided not to trust and obey Him when they ate of The Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, which He had told them not to. However, in the last book of the Bible, (Revelations 22:1-4) Jesus tells us through Apostle John that He has redeemed us so we can access The Tree of Life again.
