I saw beautiful pink cherry blossoms which actually last only about 2 weeks, which could be a poignant reminder of the brevity of our lives. However, in the context of eternity it is one of many beautiful love notes that God loves to give us. "Instead of the thorn bush will grow the juniper and instead of briers the Myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign that will last forever" (Isaiah 55:13)
