Today's picture of a black window blind, with a light shining on to it rather than having it opened to allow light in, reminds us that we cannot see into our future. However, we have the Word of God shed into our lives to give us assurance that our future is good when we allow God to lead us. "Now listen you who say today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money. Why, you don't even know what will happen tomorrow, what is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say that if it is the Lord's Will we will live and do this and that". (James 4:13-15). Let us delight in what God has in store for us.
