Today I saw bubbles being blown and floating in the air. This brings thoughts of childlike delight and enjoyment. There is a Children's Museum in California which has an annual Bubbly Birthday celebration which also involves scientific explanations as to how bubbles are formed, why they are round, rainbow-coloured, why they float and pop, what is surface tension etc. This provides further reflection as to how being childlike as an adult does not have to mean being irresponsible and ignorant. In answer to the question as to who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven, Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3). This is something to ponder deeply on. Are we able to let go of our adult seriousness and worries, to really trust and enjoy God's Kingdom?
