Today is an extension to Saturday's message on grace. When we declare God as our heavenly Father we become connected to His spiritual DNA. Not only does God's very essence extend undeserved goodness and kindness, He also has no sickness, no propensities to any particular addiction, no negative family history to impact us etc. How wonderful to be able to declare our inheritance in God, connected to His spiritual DNA so to speak. The Holy Spirit in us is a guarantee and reminder that we are in the process of gradually changing into God's image. (See Ephesians 1:11-14). Saint Mother Theresa of Culcutta had said that we should forgive, be kind, be happy, do good and give our best, regardless of what others think of us and how they behave towards us, concluding "For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway".
