Some people do seem to have a series of events which they feel indicates a curse on their lives. We are told in the Bible that when Jesus hung on there cross He took our cursed. This applies to any curses, whether caused by our wrong doings, the wrongdoings of others connected to us or others wishing ill on us. All curses are obliterated by Jesus "by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree' " (Galatians 3:13/Deuteronomy 21:23). We have the choice to receive this blessing or not.
