Description

Today I had a picture of internal scaffolding, like a skeleton upon which something can be constructed rather than external scaffolding. This makes me think of how careful we need to be with our words, particularly for 2 reasons. Firstly, let's ensure our words are not empty promises etc and secondly, that our words are not mean, nasty and accusatory etc. Those words could cause damage to the recipient but what comes out of our mouth reveals the state of our heart and, actually, adversely affects us more. The wise book of Proverbs 21:23 says, "Whoever guards his mouth and tongue, keeps his soul from troubles".
