When praying first thing this morning I had a picture of a black spot, depicting unbelief, and a white band of light in front of it, depicting Truth. This reminded me of a previous revelation when, one night, I had had my curtains open with my bedroom light on. When I observed the effect the light of my room had on the garden and yet the darkness of the night had no means of infiltrating my room, I recognised the analogy with the darkness of unbelief and the light of Truth which always prevails. I linked these imageries today with Verse 5 of John Chapter 1. John 5:1 "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it".
