Jemima Puddleduck is a fictitious character, amongst many other farm characters such as Peter Rabbit, imagined by Beatrix Potter. Imagination is not only a gift but an integral part of God's creative power and His creations. We are His creations, bestowed with power to imagine and focus on what is good and positive for us now and into the future. Scientists need imagination to propel them towards a desire to explore further as we do when we want to explore and develop an increased understanding of God's Kingdom. In this context, the following verse comes alive with fresh meaning - "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours"(Mark 11:24)
