Today's focus is on a verse given to me this morning of Ephesians 6:10 " Be strong in the Lord and in His might and power" with accompanying text which reminds us that it is easy to get negative when someone offends us, to get upset over the unchanging circumstances that we don't like etc. However we forget that God gives us the strength to change our attitudes and reactions towards our seemingly unchanging negative circumstances. Instead of waiting for God to change our circumstances, perhaps God is wanting us to turn to Him for a necessary change in us first? Trust and have faith in Him to change us if need be. "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us." (Philippians 4:13). So, yes, sometimes it is God intentionally giving us the testing times to, literally test us, to strengthen us as we learn to rely on Him increasingly and to praise Him for it. Also, remember that God loves to bless you abundantly so, receive His blessings with joy and gratitude. I say this as sometimes I, foolishly I realise, feel guilty when a material blessing comes my way.
