By spending time thinking on the Lord and His Word, we are opening our hearts and minds, like fertile ground, to receiving knowledge from Him. We need to beware of focussing on resentment, worries and other negative distractions. "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things" (Colossians 3:2)
