Description

Today I was reminded of my now 36 year old eldest son playing with little cars when he was a preschooler; he loved it when I cut out little gingerbread shaped men to place in the driver's seat. I loved playing with all 5 of my children. I was 30 years old when my eldest was born and he was the same age when his wife gave birth to their first son. He now loves to play with his 3 little ones too. What a lovely exchange between young and older. God is the one Who equips us with personalities and skills. Let us be humble in acknowledging that when we help others and also be willing to receive help from whomever God wants to use. Apostle Paul counsels his young protégé Timothy, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)
