On seeing a picture of Nomads travelling in the desert, I think of Abram. In the first book in the bible we are told how God had instructed Abram to leave his home and travel like a nomad to a land He had in store for him.(Genesis 12). We now know that the Hebrew lineage started with Abram. Abram trusted and obeyed God. God did not let him down on any of His promises, one of which was a son. He and his wife Sarai were in their seventies and Sarai (whose name was changed to Sarah and Abram's to Abraham) conceived when she was nearly 100 and she gave birth to their son Isaac. This is a good reminder that we may not know where God is leading us and He may take a while to keep His promises but His promises are always Yes and Amen! (2 Corinthians 1:20).
