The winners on the podiums at the Olympics not only have individual glory but each one represents their country. Similarly, we are called to be ambassadors for God so that others can be encouraged to see the wonders of being in His Kingdom. Everyone has the choice to be part of God's Kingdom with all its amazing benefits. The good news is that it is not about us qualifying through being good enough to get in but simply accepting that Jesus took the consequences of our wrongdoings so that we can be reconciled to God. "So from now on we regard no one from a wordly point of view. ... Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. ... We are therefore Christ's ambassadors..." (2 Corinthians 5:16-20)
