Just as with a pregnant woman who is expectant of one baby (or more!) though is not entirely sure of the arrival date, we can also be assured that we are carrying God's promises, often uncertain as to when they will be fulfilled. The same applies to Jesus's return. We know it is going to happen but we do not know exactly when. Let's remain expectant and prepared. Jesus Himself said, "But understand this. If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house bw broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.' (Matthew 24:43-44)
