Today I saw a huge crest of a wave. Riding a crest of a wave usually describes a time of maximum prosperity, high popularity or exceptional success but it doesn't last, as depicted by a wave crashing to shore. I get the sense that this wave I saw represents, instead, the difficult things we are contending with, which will also pass. In the Bible, we are taught to focus on Godly events and qualities. As the News attests, it is much easier to focus on the bad. We need to discipline ourselves to always think positively in an active and intentional way. Even whilst in prison Apostle Paul declared, "Finally brothers and sisters whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things". (Philippians 4:8). Proverbs 22:17 tells us that a joyful heart is good medicine. Jesus is the Word who became flesh (see John 1:1,14). Pay heed to Jesus the Word, bringing spiritual medicine in your life to give you healing.
