Yesterday, someone said to me, "To plant seeds is to believe in the future". I loved that and it made me think of verses in the bible that encourage us to sow positively and then we reap multifold. Galatians 6:8b tells us, "whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life". We need love and patience to apply that but it seems so worth it. Proverbs11:24-25, amongst other bible verses, further says, "One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." So, sowing and giving, reaps rewards in our lifetime on earth as well as into eternity.
