Today I saw a shower curtain with the steam rising from the running hot water. We may not be interested and may not understand why hot air rises but that still doesn't dismiss the existence of the scientific law of lighter particles of hot air floating above the dense cooler particles. Similarly, not being interested in Jesus and not understanding Him does not dismiss the fact that Jesus exists. When Jesus was on earth He said, "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit" (John 3:8). The Spirit is the Holy Spirit which God sends to dwell in us through His son, Jesus Christ. We cannot see Jesus in the flesh but if you do not know Jesus Christ, look out for the effects He has on the lives of those who believe and follow Him. When you like what you witness of Jesus being in their lives, you can also ask Jesus to be in your life or, indeed, more in your life if you have already accepted Him but have a tendency to shove Him aside.
