I saw an image of me being surrounded by a ring of tall fire from which I could not physically escape. However, God reminded me not to fear as he could easily pluck me out. This brings to mind the 3 young men from Judah, taken captive in Babylon, who refused to worship any other than their own God. In his anger King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon ordered his soldiers to bind and throw these 3 young men into an exceedingly hot furnace. The soldiers themselves died from being so close to the intense heat and yet King Nebuchadnezzar said he could then see the 3 young men walking around freely in the furnace and "a fourth looks like a son of the gods" (Daniel 3:25). He ordered them to come out. They were completely unharmed and didn't even smell of smoke. This amazing incident convinced King Nebuchadnezzar of God's supremacy. Let us similarly expect God to provide us with testimonies of Him completely protecting us, to the point that there are no lingering adverse side effects.
