I was wondering why Swedish meatballs are considered to be so delicious and I subsequently gathered that the two main ingredients are a combination of minced meats, usually beef and pork, which then creates a tender, juicy mixture. They are often served with a creamy gravy, enhancing the overall flavour and adding a comforting element to the dish. How am I connecting these details to the Bible?! Well, yesterday teamwork was considered and with these Swedish meatballs we have a fusion of ingredients to create the finished dish. It is teamwork so to speak. This also brings to mind Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of 3 strands is not quickly broken". This is a wise reminder that on our own we are very vulnerable to attack, with a supporting person we do have some defence but with God as a third strand in a union, we are very strong. This further reminds me of the triangle analogy. Two people are represented as at two points of the triangle but if they are both cultivating a relationship with God so rising to the apex of the triangle on either side then they will find that they are getting closer to each other too.
