The Feeding of the 5000 is apparently the only miracle recorded in all 4 gospels (John 6:1-14; Matthew 14:13-21; Mark 6:31-44; Luke 9:12-17) apart from the Resurrection. What is also worth noting is that so much teamwork was involved starting from the awareness of the need to feed so many people, then discovering a boy had 5 small barley loaves and 2 small fish which were taken to Jesus who miraculously multiplied the food. The food had then to be distributed amongst the 5000 and then the leftover bread was collected into 12 baskets so as not to waste it. All this required the disciples fixing their eyes on Jesus, following his instructions and working together. Jesus does amazing things in our lives but He still needs us to work with Him and as a team.
