There are choices to be made in life whether they are insignificant or significant. Unless we are in total bondage, we can choose to "Go with the flow", that is be carried along by events and others' choices, without trying to alter things or be in control, or we can make our own choices. It is a significant choice to go with the flow in God's Kingdom and to trust that He is looking after us. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises us that if we trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; submitting our ways to Him, He will make our paths straight". In His Kingdom we still continue to have the free will to make choices, whether we want to be in line with God's Will or not. We are responsible for our choices and consequences. In Revelations 18:3-4, the last book in the Bible, we are warned that if we go in the flow of the world of drunkenness and adultery (which could be referring to anything that totally absorbs us), without taking control and stock of our lives and those of others, we are in danger of bad consequences. "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues".
