Description

Humans Think, as was succinctly put by French philosopher René Descartes in his immortalised words, "Cogito, ergo sum" translated as "I think, therefore I am." There is lots of scientific research into the process of thinking but most importantly, let us keep our thinking in line with what and how God created us to think. We have the important reminder from apostle Paul to think on what is positive (Philippians 4:8) but we can expand our understanding of that ideal, by thinking for instance on what is not positive in order to think positively on how we can promote change for good. God can direct and support our thinking, within the context of free will which He gives us at all times. Paul's 2nd letter to the Corinthians, chapter 10:5 tells the followers of Christ that "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ". That is a verse worth thinking/meditating on!
