We know there is a storm when we hear thunder and see lightning but we don't necessarily know what causes thunder and lightning. Similarly. we can see a touching picture and recognise the compassion of the artist but we don't necessarily know anything else about the artist. Aren't we like that with God? We might recognise His handiwork but do we spend time with Him getting to know Him? As an example to us, Jesus spent many long hours alone with His Father when He was here on this earth.
