Seeing a wrinkle in some material has brought to mind the verses the apostle Paul has given the Christian Church to say that we are the Body of Jesus Christ, with Him as the head (Ephesians 1:22-23) and, as such, He wants to "present us to Himself without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish ..." (Ephesians 5:25). He makes an analogy with husbands and their wives. "He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church - for we are members of his body" (Ephesians 5:28-30). Apostle Paul continues in v.32 to acknowledge that this is a profound mystery. Let us draw close to God to absorb the truth of this mystery as to how much Christ cares for us, His body.
