Description

Madeline L'Engle said, "The world has been abnormal for so long that we've forgotten what it's like to live in a peaceful and reasonable climate. If there is to be any peace or reason, we have to create it in our own hearts and homes." (From her novel A Swiftly Tilting Planet, and thank you to Sarah Bessey for quoting this!) Goodness, isn't this true for us today? These days are anything but normal and we have control over so little. We vote (PLEASE GO VOTE), we do our part, and at the end of the day all we can tend to is our heart and the places that feel like home. This is the place we commit to making peace.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God." Jesus said this in his famous sermon on the mount, and no matter what happens with this year's American election, we commit to being faithful people of peace.

This final episode of our faith and politics series is sure to be the dose of hope and hilarity that you want and need. We love you all so much - thank you for tuning in!
