Welcome to the Shuffle Curious Podcast! In this special DJ Showcase episode, we're thrilled to feature Mario Delarosa, also known as Sol Sonata, a talented Denver DJ.
Mario's journey into DJing began with his love for dubstep, which quickly led him to seek out mentors who could guide him on his musical path. Their support and expertise fueled his passion, propelling him forward in his DJing career.
Shuffling played a pivotal role in Mario's life, providing him with the confidence to venture into uncharted territories. It became a catalyst for his exploration of new avenues, including DJing. With the support of his fellow shufflers, Mario embraced the challenge, honing his skills and delving into playing more trance and techno.
Mario's is looking to build the Trance scene in Denver and play shows consistently. Drawing from his shuffling background, Mario discovered that the concepts and experiences he gained from the dance floor directly translated into mixing music. His deep understanding of rhythm, flow, and crowd engagement elevated his DJ performances.
Filled with enthusiasm and dedication, Mario is committed to advancing his DJ journey. He yearns to push his boundaries, deepen his connections within the scene, and continue to refine his craft.

Mario Delarosa is a dancer, DJ and local EDM event organizer. Born and raised in Denver, CO he's an active participant in the rave scene there. Whether it's spinning under the alias Sol Sonata, dancing with the Mile High Shufflers or curating events with the group Denver EDM Friends.
