This week I chatted with Alexis Lenihan and really got into some beautiful self-love, where it's important to understand that you have to over flow your cup in order to give more to yourself and others.
Alexis is a seasoned coach, facilitator, business professor and curriculum developer. After years of teaching and leading in a corporate setting, Alexis took the leap and started her own personal and professional development business.
Since 2007, Alexis has helped hundreds of professionals and entrepreneurs breakthrough stuck plateaus to achieve even more from their careers, relationships, and health than they ever thought possible. Trained and certified by the High Performance Institute, Alexis is a leading authority on the habits and practices of High Performers with a science-backed curriculum and proven results. Alexis has been successfully coaching clients and teams locally and internationally, facilitating their self-growth. Many feel overwhelmed by life’s demands; her services aim to introduce clarity, confidence and a growth mindset while teaching effective strategy that can be implemented immediately.
She has delivered workshops and seminars to businesses, schools, and community organizations with a focus on leadership development and effective communication, as well as productivity, time and stress management, influence, and confidence. Alexis is also significantly involved in Mohawk College’s business and entrepreneurship community. She supports student entrepreneurs and business students through the teaching and creation of academic programs.
As a business owner, employee, wife and mom of two young boys, Alexis understands the heavy burden of competing interests and commitments. However, she also wants it all. By practicing what she preaches, she has been able to find a work/life harmony that allows her to continue to thrive in her professional life without sacrificing her relationships or health and wellness. And now, she is committed to helping others achieve the same.
