On this weeks episode of Blue Collar Angst we sit down with Mike Ewing, an industrial maintenance foreman out of Tupelo, Mississippi. Mike is one of the most positive and forward thinking individuals out there, that understands the importance of cultivating and teaching the next generation of workers in this country. Mike shares his story of growing up in a blue collar background and finding a love for welding at a young age, picking up his love for welding off of an old Tombstone Lincoln Electric welder in the 7th grade. One of the greatest things that this episode brings out is the responsibility that leaders have to their team and how the mindset of the leader spreads to the whole team. Mike shares multiple stories on how mindset and having a positive outlook shape the day to day dynamics of any team. And how effective leaders first gain trust, and then can inspire their teams accordingly to the individual needs of every person.
