The Labor Day Weekend often means end-of-summer gatherings with family and friends! Well, we are replaying the last of our "Greatest Hits" as we transition into Quarter 4 and what could be better than to end the summer with a game called, "Playing Our Strengths?"
Have you ever witnessed someone’s behavior and thought “what motivated that person to respond like that?”
We often look at others’ behaviors through our own lenses of experiences and motivations and then project those viewpoints onto what just happened. But as a good leader, it’s important to understand that individuals have different motivators that can show up in all types of behaviors. And these motivators are linked to our Strengths.
In today’s podcast, we invite you to grab your top ten strengths and play along with us as we explore how our Strengths come into play when we are presented with a challenge or task. You’ll see how Pamela and I look at the same challenge with completely different lenses that will direct our behaviors. How will you view each challenge? Will your Strengths lead you to think of completely different routes than what we chose? We bet they will!
At the Grounding and Growing Leadership podcast, we believe that everyone is a leader and leadership starts with you. Join Tara Gronhovd, Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach and e2Grow High Performing Team Coach and Pamela Nelson, Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach, Certified Leadership Coach, Counselor and Spiritual Director as we navigate conversations to grow you and your teams on your leadership journey's.
