We have a special guest today! Anthony Nelson is the Director of The Glacier Institute and is here to share his leadership experience working with Glacier National Park. The Glacier Institute's mission is to "Strengthen Connections to the Natural World Through Guided Hikes and Education Programs in Glacier National Park."
Anthony shares his tips for the long and sometimes tiring work of changing a mission or vision for an organization. It’s not an immediate change that takes place as quickly as you’d like. But getting everyone on board takes time and consistency with your team. Persistent positive reinforcement is one of the most effective ways Anthony has learned to help a team move toward the desired new goals.

CliftonStrengths (aka Strengthsfinder) is an assessment that is based on positive psychology and measures core motivations. It’s an extremely powerful tool for personal and professional development as well as improving team dynamics. You will hear us reference Strengths frequently in our podcasts.
