This week we’re welcoming back Anthony Nelson. As a quick reminder, Anthony is the director of the Glacier Institute, a national non-profit organization that strives to connect people to the natural world at Glacier National Park.
Becoming director of the Glacier Institute was a terrifying thought when Anthony started and he admits, he made a lot of mistakes along the way. But one thing that saved him was having the right people on speed dial on his phone to help him through this brand-new experience. Spending time with those other leaders and asking them difficult questions, has helped him learn from them and apply those lessons to his leadership.
So, as a leader, who do you have on speed dial that you can reach out to when you have leadership struggles? If you don’t have a long list (or one at all), think about who you can reach out to and add to your speed dial contacts. Having a good support network can help you make the changes in your business that you’re dreaming about.
