Where are you learning and growing right now that is making you uncomfortable? Growth can be super uncomfortable . . .and we are uncomfortable with discomfort. How long are you willing to stay in that discomfort in order to learn and grow? There is a great quote we learned from our friend Melissa Shanahan by Brooke Costello that says “Discomfort is the currency of your dreams.” Our fixed mindset, focused on comfort and things we already know and are great at, keeps us stuck. Today Pamela and I are exploring the shift from Fixed to Growth Mindset as part of our Mindset Shift Series. We’re glad you’re here!
A growth mindset keeps you open to learning and remaining humble in that process. You will push yourself out of your comfort zone and into the learning zone, choosing how you’ll manage the growth you need to have. Don’t let the fear of that challenge have the power. You need to take back that power and not give up so that you can reach the potential you’re capable of.
Are you ready to grow? If you are, we’re here to help you.

CliftonStrengths (aka Strengthsfinder) is an assessment that is based on positive psychology and measures core motivations. It’s an extremely powerful tool for personal and professional development as well as improving team dynamics. You will hear us reference Strengths frequently in our podcasts.
