Description

In this episode, we’re graced with the presence of Michelle Pape, a long-time mentor and friend of ours! Michelle is the founder of Next Monday and has won the 2023 Athena Award – an award for professional women who have achieved excellence in their careers and who inspire others in the community. She has recently (semi) retired and today we celebrate the incredible legacy she has created.

Michelle has an incredible gift of seeing beyond titles and circumstances. She intentionally sees people and believes that in leadership, we have the responsibility to call out the potential in those we lead. People are hungry to be seen, and as leaders, it is one of the greatest gifts you can bring to your team.

So, pull out those Kleenex and listen in today (we’ll be shedding a few tears along the journey). You’ll be blown away by Michelle’s keen and kind insight.

At the Grounding and Growing Leadership podcast, we believe that everyone is a leader and that leadership starts with you. Join Tara Gronhovd, Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach and e2Grow High Performing Team Coach, and Pamela Nelson, Certified Leadership Coach, Counselor and Spiritual Director, as we navigate conversations to grow you and your teams on your leadership journeys.

CliftonStrengths (aka Strengthsfinder) is an assessment that is based on positive psychology and measures core motivations. It’s an extremely powerful tool for personal and professional development as well as improving team dynamics. You will hear us reference Strengths frequently in our podcasts. If you are interested in learning more and taking the CliftonStrengths assessment for you or your team, please reach out to tara@aligntransform.com.
