Tony Black’s 34-year career in education has included a little bit of everything: classroom teacher, principal -- and for the last seven years, he’s served as the Executive Director of Technology for the Whitehouse ISD in Texas. Since his early days as a classroom teacher, Tony’s focus has been on kids, and that’s the approach he and his technology team take at WISD every day: students first.
But that focus on kids doesn’t stop at school: In addition to six kids of their own, Tony and his wife Amanda have also become deeply involved in fostering. In the last seven years, they’ve welcomed over 25 children into their home.
Additionally, Whitehouse ISD was one of the first partners of Neptune Navigate.
