When Ehren Maedge was a teenager growing up in the tiny village of Lena, Illinois, he was not afraid to tell anyone that he was going to be a millionaire by the age of 30. As a 25-year old CEO, he will tell you that he made every mistake imaginable seeing his first company fail, but he never doubted his capabilities. With tremendous perseverance, 2 years later, with the backing of Sequoia Capital, he and his partners built a $500,000/per quarter start-up that they would eventually sell to Tumbleweed Communications.
As the present day Partner and Vice-President for Growth at Three29, Ehren's team consists of marketers, technologists, and creatives who wrangle with customers including Meta (Facebook), Jiffy Lube, the Sacramento Kings and iHeartMedia.
Ehren shared great stories about his career and how his perspectives have changed over the years, but his passion for being an entrepreneur has not waivered in the least. For those of you looking for motivation to start your own company or just try something new, you won't want to miss this episode.
