Most adults at some point in their life have to stand in front of a room and overcome the fear of public speaking. As the Senior Programs Officer at the Global Center on Cooperative Security, Franzi Praxl-Tabuchi was asked to speak in front of the world while it was broadcast on CSPAN at the United Nations. She spoke to world leaders on the cause and affect of the world-wide terrorist threats to international peace and security. Although, it was one of the hardest things she has ever had to do, her purpose was much more important.
Franzi shared her amazing career with us in this week's Be Significant as she discussed her role in helping the United States and the nations of the world fight the battle of violent extremism and terrorism. She left us understanding what the powerful combination of curiosity, compassion, and hard work can do to change the world for the better.
