Shay Atluru is President and CEO of DTC Engineers & Constructors. Shay is an engineer at the helm of DTC and for the past 2 and 1/2 years has served as chair for the DSA which stands for Downtown Sarasota Alliance. Shay and his team utilize their collective experience in engineering, environment, construction, and management to create high value, sustainable constructed projects. Shay spent 22 years participating in the design and build of military construction projects in 26 states, the Caribbean and Central America. Shay has also participated in projects in South America, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Shay has a Bachelors in Engineering and in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and has taken post-graduate studies in law, deconstruction, hazardous waste and contracts. He sits on many civic and community boards and truly becomes involved with communities in which he works, lives, and plays.
