Drawing upon an academic career spanning over two decades, Edward Collins began his education career focusing on political marketing before gradually transitioning into a facilitator for SME marketing strategy development across various industries, including agriculture technology, food technology, and the arts.
Eds career has expanded to include a growing interest in supporting fellow educators in their professional development within tertiary institutions. This interest has been cultivated through his background as an Assistant Professor in Consumer Behaviour at the School of Agriculture Policy & Development, the University of Reading, as well as his tenure as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Management at the University of Roehampton, London. He has held lectureships at Grenoble Ecole de Management, EDHEC Lille, and Queen Mary's University, London.
Recently, Ed has started a new chapter in Taranaki, New Zealand, embracing the Kiwi lifestyle with his family. Most importantly he is a Munster and now Taranaki Bulls Rugby supporter and is delighted with both team’s champion performances this year. He joined the Pacific International Hospitality Management School as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and has just established a marketing management consultancy firm based in New Plymouth that helps businesses optimize their strategic marketing efforts.
