Martin Nugent came to Clongowes in 1975 and spent thirty-eight of his forty years of teaching have been in CWC
In more recent times he has been Chair of Fundraising at Clongowes Wood College, 2013-2017. Initially a teacher of Irish when he came first and then added Social Awareness and German
Martin was also Assistant Headmaster 2000-2013 and member of Board of Management 2002-2O13.
A great sportsman Martin reinvigorated Gaelic football during his early years in Clongowes and then turned his hand to coaching other sports where he also experienced success including rugby in 1988, where he shared the coaching ticket with Vinny Murray
Martin recently retired.
