Peter is a former pupil and school captain (OC’73), and was President of the Clongowes Union in 2013/14. His son David (OC’11) also attended Clongowes. Having studied Law in TCD, Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then pursued a career in industry, working mainly in pharmaceuticals. He was CEO of ICON plc and also Chairman of UDG Healthcare plc and a director of a number of other companies. Peter passionately believes in what Clongowes has to offer, attributing much of his own development and later success to his time there. #portraitsofclongowes
